SAT/PSAT

  • The SAT is a test taken in 11th grade.  It is required for entry into most colleges.  The PSAT is a practice test that is usually taken in 9th or 10th grade.  Click here for more information and study materials.

Seal of Biliteracy

  • The Michigan Seal of Biliteracy has been created to recognize high school graduates who exhibit language proficiency in English and at least one additional world language. CLEP (College Level Examination program)

  • Students can take CLEP tests to earn college credit.  Many of our Spanish-speaking students can take the Spanish test and earn college credit for Spanish.  Students who qualify for free/reduced-priced lunch may be able to take these tests at a reduced cost.  The VBISD is an approved testing center.  Talk to your local school or visit https://clep.collegeboard.org/ for more information.  Click HERE to find out who is in charge of CLEP in your district.

M-STEP

The Michigan Student Test of Educational Progress (M-STEP) is given to students online in grades 3-7 to measure their knowledge of state standards in English language arts (ELA) and mathematics.
