Celebrating the Creative Talents of Our Migrant and Multilingual Students
We are constantly amazed by the rich talents and creativity of our migrant and multilingual students. Beyond the classroom, many of these students shine as artists, musicians, content creators, and storytellers—and we believe it’s time to celebrate that!
Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of knowing students who are phenomenal at drawing and design, who perform with musical groups at community events, and who run their own YouTube channels or podcasts to share their voice with the world. These students bring passion, culture, and creativity to everything they do, and we want to help share their gifts with a wider audience.
🎨 Do you create visual art?
🎵 Are you a musician or part of a band or group?
🎙️ Do you host a podcast or have a creative YouTube channel?
We’d love to feature your work in an upcoming blog post! Whether you’re a painter, beatmaker, digital artist, vlogger, or something in between, we want to highlight the incredible things our students are creating.
If you’d like to be considered for a future feature, please send a link or a copy of your work to tgleason@vbisd.org. Be sure your submission is appropriate for sharing (no controversial imagery or profanity, please).
Let’s lift up our young creators and let their voices and talents be seen and heard. We can’t wait to see what you’re working on!
